This was painted during the Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational 2011 at Crystal Cove. This is a group of cottages on the beach built in the 20's and 30's ..... an LA getaway ..... Many studio people memories.

This oil on board is an image on the beach looking south with a slight haze from fog.....The atmospheric perspective was amazing with the cliffs in the distance fading.....

This is a second take on the view south.... at a different time of day the sky had a green cast and the view through the translucent wave was an emerald green........
