This road is on the Big Island of Hawaii between Kapoho and Pahoa. I call this Mango road because the road meanders through an old grove of wild mango trees. It is part of my Zen drive.

This road winds through an old grove of mango trees. To save the trees the road winds and even narrows to one lane on occasion. This 8x10 Plein Air panel won an honorable mention at Maui Hands gallery's Plein Air Painters of Hawaii show in May 2008
